Hon. Abdulahi Adamu was born in the Year 1968 in Jiwa Emirate of Abuja Municipal Area Council. A charismatic and visionary leader, he started his early education in L.E.A Primary School Jiwa before proceeding to the Niger Baptist College Minna for his Secondary Education. Hon. Abdullahi Adamu attended the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and the University of Maiduguri. Between 1989 and 1990, he worked as an Education Assistant in the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

Since the beginning of the present political dispensation in the country, Hon. Abdulahi Adamu – Candido has been an active participant. In 1999, he was elected by the good people of Jiwa ward to represent them in the Abuja Municipal Area Council. He distinguished himself in the council and was appointed Supervisory Councillor to superintend over the department of Works and Housing of the council.

He was also appointed Chairman of committee on transportation. In this capacity, he introduced several innovations in the transportation system of A.M.A.C, a quintessential administrator with great interest in the pen profession, he is a great writer and has made several contributions on national discuss as a freelance journalist and columnist. As a grass root politician and astute administrator, in 2003, CANDIDO, as he is fondly called by his admirers was appointed Council Secretary of the Abuja Municipal Area Council. He was also the State Chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (C.P.C) in the Federal Capital Territory. After the merger of several political parties to form a mega party – All Progressive Congress (APC); Hon. Abdullahi Adamu was elected as the State Secretary for F.C.T. during the 2016, Local Government Elections, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu –Candido was massively elected as Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council. He is happily married with Children.
